Public Notice – Notice to Bidders
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Austerlitz is inviting Sealed Bids for the following Materials to be delivered to the Highway Garage at: 714 Route 203, Spencertown, NY 12165 and other sites throughout the Town;
1. Crushed Stone Products, Sand, Gravel, and Bituminous Asphalt
2. Culvert Pipe, Gurd Rail and Geotextile Fabrics.
3. Trucking.
4. Tree Removal Bidders may submit bids for any one or all items.
Bidders must be qualified suppliers and have sufficient stock on hand for emergencies.
All prices shall be firm for the year. The contract period for the furnishing of materials and services shall be from April 2026 until April 2027.
Delivery of materials and service contract work shall be during normal business hours from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday thru Thursday. Delivery of materials shall be within 72 hours of notice. Any materials rejected by the Town shall be replaced within 48 hours by the bidder at no additional cost to the Town.
An award does not guarantee the purchase of any specific amount of material. The Town reserves the right to purchase from County or State contracts if it is in the Town’s best interest.
Bids must be submitted on the attached “Bid Proposal Form(s)” and in a Sealed Envelope that is clearly marked with the bidder’s name, place of business, and item(s) bid. Faxed or electronically transmitted bids will NOT be accepted.

Request for Proposals for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE)
for the Town of Austerlitz
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Austerlitz (the “Owner”)
invites sealed bids for the installation of three (3) single wall-mounted level 2 port plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) charging stations to be located in the Town of Austerlitz Highway Garage, 714 State Route 203, Spencertown/Austerlitz, NY 12165.
The end result should be turnkey charging stations ready to operate. The complete RFP is available at the Town Hall or on the Town website: austerlitzny.gov .
All bids must be received by 10:00am, Thursday, December 11, 2025 to be considered. Any bid received after the deadline cannot be considered. Sealed bids are to be marked on the envelope as “Bid for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment”.
Bids are to be delivered by mail or in person to – Sue Haag/Town Clerk, PO Box 238, Spencertown, NY 12165, or by hand to Sue Haag/Town Clerk, 816 State Route 203, Spencertown, NY.
The bids will be opened by the Town Clerk in the view of the public at 10:15 am on Thursday December 11, 2025 and will be considered by the Town Board at the Town Board meeting on December 18, 2025.
Acceptance of bids hereunder and the awarding of contract by the Town of Austerlitz shall be contingent upon the bid being acceptable to NYSERDA and being in an amount acceptable to the Town Board as authorized and required by law. Proof of insurance is required.
The Town of Austerlitz reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all
informalities and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive conditional bids. All proposals become the property of the Town of Austerlitz.
